Brighton man charged with Happy Shopper robbery

A Brighton man has been charged over the robbery at Happy Shopper newsagents in Bevendean earlier this month.

Robert Pullen, 20, of Grand Parade, has also been charged with the possession of a knife in a public place.

Pullen appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court this morning in connection with the offences.

The charge relates to the robbery at the newsagents on Upper Bevendean Avenue on 11th October, during which the shopkeeper suffered a superficial stab wound to the chest.
