How Lord Ashcroft’s money is influencing Hove and Portslade

The Observer on Sunday analysed how Lord Ashcroft’s millions could be influencing the political landscape in Hove and Portslade.

The Conservative Pary’s biggest donor has been making headlines over his non-dom status and consequently the result of pumping his money into marginals such as Hove and Portslade may no longer be securing the seats, but blowing them wide open oncemore.

Labour MP Celia Barlow is hoping to cling on to her seat, but had fallen well down in the polls to Mike Weatherley from the Conservatives. The Liberal Democrats are represented here by Paul Elgood.
