Upmarket Patisserie Valerie café opens in Hove

Cake lovers are in for a treat following the opening of a Paisserie Valerie café on Western Road in Hove.

The upmarket patisserie has established a reputation for exceptionally indulgent cakes and patisseries with stores in prime London locations.

The chain has recently launched an expansion across England and luckily for Brighton and Hove residents, one of the new cafés is on Western Road and it takes up a prominent position where the Real Eating Company previously operated from.

Patisserie Valerie describes itself as a “haven for self-indulgence in the most exquisite cakes and patisseries you will ever feast your eyes upon.”

The company’s website adds: “All our delicious hand-made cakes, gateaux and patisseries are a taste sensation using traditional recipes and authentic methods achieving an international reputation.”

The group behind the chain has purchased the four-storey Western Road site on a 15-year lease and the cafe will operate on the ground and first floor.
