IPCC informed after man found dead in Hove flat

Two men have been arrested after a 51-year-old man was found dead at his flat in Brunswick Place in Hove yesterday afternoon (6th January).

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is to investigate the incident as the victim had been in touch with the police on the day before he died.

The men, aged 40 and 43, who are of no fixed address, were arrested yesterday evening following the discovery shortly after 3pm.

A post mortem examination was due to take place today to discover the cause of death, but detectives are treating the incident as murder.
