Eddie Kidd to attend Hangleton Family Fun Day

Legendary stunt biker Eddie Kidd is to make a guest appearance at the Rotary Family Fun Day which is taking place at Hangleton Manor on Wednesday 24th August.

The event in the grounds of the historic Hangleton Manor has been organised by the all rotary clubs in Brighton and Hove and also in attendance will be Ray Burman, the President of Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland and the city’s Mayor, Cllr Anne Meadows.

Eddie Kidd became a world renowned stunt rider after performing outrageous world record jumps and performing in hit films in the 1970s and 80s. However, in 1996 he cheated death after a jump went wrong and has since battled back from incredible injuries to such an extent that he complete the London Marathon route earlier this year in 46 days using a special frame.

The fun day, which will include, games, stalls, competitions and a bouncy castle, will start at 2.30pm and is free to enter.
