Frankie Cocozza has been booted off the X Factor as a result of his off stage behaviour.
The Woodingdean teenager has become the most talked about person on this year’s singing contest as a result of his continuous partying and his inability to sing.
Frankie Cocozza has admitted he no longer deserves his place in the show and The Sun has revealed the reason behind the decision is that he had been caught discussing using cocaine.
In a statement the 18-year-old said: “I’d like to apologise to Gary, my fellow contestants and everyone who has voted for me, but, as of today, I will no longer be in the X Factor.
“My life during the show has gone out of control and my behaviour off stage has over-stepped the rules of the competition. I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore leaving.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.”
Frankie defied the odds in avoiding being knocked out of the competition in recent weeks despite being inferior to his fellow contestants, but his off field antics ensured he won enough votes regardless of his performances.
He has regularly been the subject of top trends on Twitter, while the latest news has been met with thousands of ‘Frankie Cokeupthenozza’ tweets.
The X Factor producers are yet to decide if another act is to take Frankie’s place on the show.
