Brighton X Factor hopeful misses out after X-rated video emerges

One of the two Brighton-based X Factor hopefuls that wowed audiences in the auditions has failed to make it to the judges’ houses after an X-rated video scandal.

Lascel Wood, a 20-year-old student from Brighton, had been tipped to be a star in the show this season after an impressive display in a Manchester audition earlier this week.

However, after making it to the final dozen male vocalists he missed the cut and will not be one of the eight singers to team up with Gary Barlow in the hope of making the live shows.

It was reported at the weekend that a video of Lascel Wood peforming a sex act on himself had been uploaded on to the internet.

The talented singer has denied uploading the video, which people were paying £5 to download, according to a report in The Sun.

X Factor producers have not commented on the scandal.

Brighton’s interest in the show will now be left down to womaniser Frankie Cocozza who will be one of eight male singers trying to impress Gary Barlow, which will be shown on ITV1 next weekend.
